"Baby B" profile
On Tuesday August 9th, at 25 weeks, the babies had their third sonogram.

The babies are definitely looking and acting more and more like little boys now. We even saw one of the babies repeatedly kick his brother's little round butt! But to his credit, it really is pretty crowded in there...

Both boys had significant growth spurts since our last sonogram. Baby A more than doubled his weight in the past month, sprouting to a whopping 1 lb. 15 oz. Baby B packed on nearly a pound, now weighing in at 1 lb. 14 oz. This is the first time that Baby A has weighed more than Baby B. It's good to know that Baby B is being nice and sharing the food with his bro!

According to their head measurements, each baby is the size of a 26 week baby, even though they were technically still 1 day shy of 25 weeks (we figure God must be blessing them with some pretty decent brains ;o). So now we know why Katie's belly is so huge... she's not just carrying twins, she's carrying BIG twins!

The ultrasound doctor also confirmed that the boys are fraternal twins, because each has his own placenta. Hopefully this will make it easier for us to tell them apart!
